One thing should be said plainly.
The official village sheet contains two breakdowns of the same population, and they do not agree. The neighbourhood breakdown sums to 286 residents: 177 in RT 01 and 109 in RT 02. The breakdown by sex sums to 276: 133 men and 143 women. The total written on the sheet is 276, and that is the headline figure used here. The ten-person gap is neither hidden nor silently corrected, because only the Waidim village government has the standing to resolve it.
An undated district portal lists Waidim as having 231 residents in 71 households. That figure is not used here. The same portal also disagrees with neighbouring Samate’s own official sheet, so Waidim’s official sheet is treated as the more authoritative source.
